Printable: Cedar Waxwing & Pin Cherry

printable of waxwing and pin cherry coloring page

This is a common sight in the late summer wherever the pin cherry trees are full of their ripe, bright red berries.

Cedar waxwings and other berry-loving birds feast on these berries. The waxwing’s distinctive look make them a favorite to watch.

And the tiny pin cherries are easy to spot in their clusters. Try making jam or sauce with them after you take out the itty-bitty pits. You’ll need sweetener though—they’re tart!
